Software Engineer III -Full Stack Java, React

As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Commercial Banking Technology and Sales Enablement division, your role will involve leveraging your deep knowledge and expertise across all stages of the software development lifecycle. Job Responsibilities

• Able to drive and develop scalable and resilient software solutions using wide range of technology stack and tool set
• Execute software solutions, design, development and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
• Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems
• Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development
• Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture
• Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies
• Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years hands-on development experience in Java full stack with React 
• Hands-on development experience in software designing and collaboration with architecture team, working knowledge of design patterns
• Hands-on experience in coding in Java, multithreading, SpringBoot, React/Angular, JavaScript, Cloud, SQL, performance tuning and application troubleshooting
• Good experience in working in build and deploy CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Spinnaker tools
• Good experience in middleware technologies, microservices based architecture and Java programming along with system design skills
• Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency and Security

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Willingness to learn and explore other cutting edge technologies relevant for the product development
• Exposure to banking/financial domain especially in risk reporting is a plus
• Experience on cloud native design and AWS cloud certification(s) is a plus
• Familiarity with data observability tools Grafana, Telemetry for business and tech flows monitoring
