Software Engineer III, Google Cloud, GGN WANForms

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
• 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Operations Research, Mathematics or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with software systems (e.g., scalability, reliability, distributed systems).
• Experience with the networking domain.
• Experience with working in small/medium size development team.
• Ability to learn and collaborate with geographically distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Be an Subject Matter Expert (SME) on networking features, own end to end from configuration definition, collaborate on standardization across vendors, implementation to verification.
• Build frameworks using your software engineering skills and leverage your networking technology knowledge.
• Be a partner in framing problems and solutions. Be open-minded, and consider the problem from many perspectives.
• Promote communication and collaboration. Work with multiple peers, Team Leaders (TLs), and partners.
