Sr. Agile Practitioner

Job Characteristics: Project facilitator who guides cross functional teams in executing the principles of one or more Agile frameworks. Acts as a servant leader to the team. Facilitates the framework ceremonies (ex: Planning, Stand-up, Grooming, Demo & Retrospective). Owner of the process. Responsible for adaptation of the process to ensure quality of team/solutions. Ensures the tracking and reporting of daily activities by the team. Responsible for removing impediments that prevent a team from completing the work it has negotiated for a given iteration. May instruct or coach other professionals. Typically, is responsible for facilitating more than one team.

Education/Work Experience: Typically requires a degree and 5+ years experience; or no degree and 9+ years combined education and equivalent work experience (typically 1 year experience = 1 year education). Typically has at least 3+ years of Agile experience; has an advanced ScrumMaster (A-CSM) or similar Certification and/or experience using advanced Agile methods.

Independence Level/Reports to: Applies advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. May provide coaching and review the work of lower-level professionals. Normally reports to Agile Manager.
