Need DB2 LUW DBA 

12 + Years of experience in DB2 DBA 9.x to 11.X on Windows 2008 to 2019 database Administration and Support

Expertise in Database Installation and Configuration: Installing and configuring Db2 LUW ( (Linux/Unix/Windows platform) database software on servers

Strong in HADR, performance tuning, backup and recovery, security management, and troubleshooting, deadlock resolution

Experience in database design, patch and version management

Knowledge in capacity Planning, documentation, collaboration, automation monitoring, compliance with relevant regulations and standards

Experience in Disaster Recovery Planning to minimize data loss in the event of a system failure

IBM Data Management console setup and administration

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field

Responsibilities

Administer DB2 LUW databases on Windows platform

Install, upgrade and patch DB2 databases

Strong with backup and recovery

Conduct performance tuning of high scale databases

Strong experience in setting up DR databases and perform DR tests

Be available for oncall/off hour support as needed

Preferred

AWS or other cloud knowledge/Certifications

MS sql or other secondary database knowledge
