Responsibilities and Duties Responsible for nursing care and provide an individual attention. We provide both 8 hrs shifts services. So one should be ready to work in shifts as a staff nurse at our facility or home nurse at the patient's home. The nurse is responsible for the medical and emotional well-being of her patients. According to the Joint Commission, homebound patients are prone to depression and feelings of isolation, but home care nurses counteract these emotional pitfalls by providing companionship. They carry on conversations and get to know their patients and connect with them on a more personal level.
