What would you do? The mission statement of Global Services Legal is to “drive sustainable business growth for Accenture by providing deep legal expertise at the intersection of business strategy, industry and technology in a highly dynamic environment.” The Global Services Legal team functions as the integrator between various other parts of the Legal team, coordinating between the multidisciplinary areas of deep expertise across the wider Legal team, to deliver one holistic Legal perspective to the business. What are we looking for? Education and Qualifications Education: Graduate Law degree (JD) and admission in good standing with applicable bar association(s) (or local equivalents) Knowledge, Skills and Experience • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a corporate or law firm setting, ideally advising on AI & Data services • Knowledge of emerging technologies and offerings and related contract structures preferred • Understanding or willingness to learn applicable regulatory landscapes as required for the offerings, including with respect to AI & Data • High degree of organization with the ability to manage multiple workstreams • Fluency in English with strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate with global and cross-functional teams • Knowledge to shape deals and evaluating innovative commercial models for new product and service offerings, ideally including data & AI services • Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint) Behaviours and Attributes • Strong interest in continuous learning about emerging technologies • Commitment to a creative, inclusive, and diverse workplace; Understanding the value of diversity and recognize the strengths that different styles, innovative perspectives and experiences bring to Accenture • Focus on analysis of the business, guidance to the right business and legal teams, and industrialization of more mature processes • Open to learn, work with and understand cross-cultures and locations throughout the Accenture global organization • Good commercial acumen, ability to deal with ambiguity, and create clarity with a pragmatic approach • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills and ability to develop materials to enable briefings to leadership within business and Legal teams
Roles and Responsibilities: • Support the Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Data business team within Accenture Technology in conducting assessments of new service and product offerings, and preparing those offerings to market • Understand the Global Services Legal (GSL) areas, assets, products, tools used and relevant Accenture Policies and support compliance with applicable Accenture policies • Develop subject-matter expertise in AI & Data and act as point of contact, together with other members of the team, for the business and assets teams • Collaborate with other teams within GSL and across legal in relation to go-to-market services, including colleagues in Resale, Strategic Partnering, Intellectual Property, Data Privacy, Regulatory and Contracting teams • Support the team to provide AI & Data related guidance to Sales & Delivery Legal (including contracting) to enable them to efficiently handle day-to-day questions, including helping to develop contracting templates and providing SME support to deal teams • Support Accenture’s Ventures & Acquisitions legal and business teams in evaluation of prospective acquisition targets sponsored by the AI & Data business and develop and implement post-merger integration strategies • Assist the team with legal research, issue-spotting, and drafting across a variety of AI & Data related matters • Support the development, review and maintenance of legal templates, playbooks, guidance materials, and internal knowledge assets • Participate in the development and enhancement of legal operations processes, tools and efficiency initiatives across the team • Maintain awareness of emerging legal and regulatory trends related to technology, AI & data
