Role Overview

This is an Individual Contributor role within the Security Group’s Functional Testing team. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between traditional Network Security testing and cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence. You will be responsible for developing feature testing strategies, automating complex security use cases, and building in-house AI-based Tools and Applications to optimize engineering productivity.

What you’ll do:

Strategic Test Planning: Translate complex product requirements into comprehensive test plans, automation and detailed execution reports with full traceability.
Advanced Automation: Streamline Security Product/Solutions deployment processes and automate use cases to reduce manual configuration errors.
AI Tool Development: Design and implement AI/ML models for automated decision-making, Quality Analysis, Generative AI tools (LLMs) to enhance test plan creation and backend data processing.
Performance Optimization: Use profiling tools to identify computational bottlenecks and deploy optimized AI models onto network appliances for real-time analytics.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with Development, Product Management, and PDT/Test teams to ensure high-quality releases with improved productivity

What you need to bring:

BE/B.Tech in ECE, Computer Science, or related field.
2–6 years of experience in Network Automation, AI Based Engineering Productivity Applications (candidates with strong early-career experience in AI-driven networking will be highly considered).

Core Networking & Security: Knowledge of Layer 3/4 policies, Firewall, NAT, and VPNs (IPsec, IKEv1/v2). Strong understanding of TCP/IP, IPV6, DNS, DHCP, and SD-WAN frameworks.
Virtualization & Cloud: Experience with vSRX deployment pipelines, virtual gateways, and public cloud networking (VPC).
AI/ML Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Deep Learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras). Experience in building LLM-based tools (using RAG, CoD) for data summarization and analytics.
Automation & Programming: Proficient in Python and Java for system development, with strong capabilities in SQL and R for building and optimizing data-driven pipelines. Knowledge of quantization and pruning for model optimization is a significant plus.
Certifications: Networking or AI related Trainings or Certifications would be great value add
