As the System Verification Leader, you will define and drive the end‑to‑end verification and integration strategy for our Computed Tomography (CT) systems. You will architect test frameworks and automation, lead complex multi‑disciplinary integration, and ensure regulatory‑grade verification across performance, safety, and clinical workflows. The position requires strong experience with the Imaging devices that utilize the ecosystem. Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Responsible for execution of laboratory and field validation testing, inspection and data acquisition for use in the design and validation of products and services typically does not require Engineering degree
Responsible for design and construction of test facilities, test rigs, instrumentation systems and the development of test software
Own the end‑to‑end V&V strategy for CT releases, including scope, risk‑based test planning, resourcing, and technical decision‑making.
Define the system‑level verification architecture, including automation strategy, simulation/stubbing approach, and injection points for isolation.
Lead readiness reviews and integration gates (design reviews, safety risk reviews), providing authoritative V&V and system quality assessment.
Derive verification requirements from system requirements, risk controls, usability studies, and field learnings, challenge requirements for clarity and testability.
Maintain requirements traceability (req ⇄ test ⇄ results ⇄ defects), ensuring coverage of risk controls and software requirements.
Collaborate with Systems Engineering to shape architecture for testability, observability, reliability, and serviceability. Influence design direction by highlighting V&V gaps, proposing architectural improvements, and validating mitigations.
Act as the primary V&V interface for Product, Program, Quality/Regulatory, Clinical, Service, and Manufacturing teams.
Produce audit‑ready documentation for design verification per IEC 60601, IEC 62304, ISO 14971, IEC 62366, and DICOM standards under QMS.
Mentor and coach junior/mid‑level SV engineers in systems thinking, risk‑based testing, debugging, and automation best practices.
Foster continuous improvement across tooling, processes, documentation, and lab practices. Define and track verification KPIs: coverage, automation ratio, defect trends, escape rates, CI stability, and cycle times.
Ensure timely execution of verification cycles, nightly/CI runs, and system‑level acceptance testing.
Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
Uses some judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.
Required Qualifications
This role requires advanced experience in the Engineering/Technology & Testing Specialist. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
Demonstrated leadership in risk‑based V&V strategy, traceability, and regulatory‑grade documentation (IEC 60601/62304, ISO 14971, IEC 62366).
Excellent debugging across HW/FW/SW boundaries; clear technical communication and documentation.
Experience with phantoms and IQ metrics and reconstruction validation.
Desired Characteristics
Excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills, effectively evaluates information/data to make decisions, anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve.
Able to work well with global teams, including time-zone flexibility.
