Team Leader
The Team Leader for Audit Sales Operations will be at the heart of delivering the UK firm’s Audit Sales Operations strategy, directly supporting the UK Senior Manager and contributing to the growth of the UK Audit capability. The role will ensure operational excellence and compliance across the running of the Audit Tender Qualification framework, lead initiatives to maintain and improve pipeline integrity for accurate leadership reporting and support projects to enhance and optimise the digital solutions underpinning Audit Sales processes.
This is a fast-paced, high-impact role offering significant autonomy and visibility at senior levels. Success will require exceptional organisational and project management skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Experience with Power BI, particularly in dashboard development, will be a distinct advantage. The Team Leader will also have direct line management responsibility for KGS team member(s), requiring strong leadership and people management skills.

Background:
The Audit Growth and Pursuits team covers the entire tender opportunity lifecycle from market monitoring and pipeline planning through to pursuits management and tender debriefs. The Operations team focuses on overseeing the processes, policies and tools that underpin that lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operation of the Audit Tender Qualification framework, acting as the subject matter expert and ensuring robust governance, compliance, and audit trails.
- Develop, maintain, and update process documentation for all key operational activities.
- Ensure data integrity across systems, proactively identifying anomalies and implementing strategies for effective data quality management.
- Oversee and strengthen internal controls, identifying opportunities for further enhancements.
- Build and maintain Power BI reports to support pipeline planning and operational reporting as needed.
- Support operational projects, including the development and implementation of digital solutions. Lead user acceptance testing as required.
- Manage, coach, and develop KGS team member(s).
- Drive process improvements and efficiencies, with a focus on digitisation.
- Interact confidently with senior stakeholders, including Audit Leadership, and provide guidance on process.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in an operations role, ideally within a professional services, or large multinational organisation.
- Experience working within governance frameworks and ensuring compliance.
- A passion for data management, with a track record of ensuring data integrity and implementing data quality strategies.
- Proven ability to work independently, take accountability, and deliver results under pressure.
- Advanced Power BI skills, including building reports and dashboards from scratch.
- Excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong people management capabilities.
- Confident communicator, able to engage effectively with senior stakeholders.
- Continuous improvement mindset, with experience implementing process enhancements.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Qualifications
- Degree from a recognised institution (Tier 1/Tier 2 or equivalent).
- Relevant professional qualifications or certifications are desirable.
