Job Description
Role: Team Lead – People Operations (Compliance)
Location: Banglore, India (Supporting US Operations)
Shift: US Hours (4:30pm to 1:00am IST)
Experience: 7–9 Years (2–3 Years in a Team Lead / Senior Role)
Role Overview
The Team Lead – People Operations (Compliance) is responsible for leading and overseeing end-to-end HR
compliance operations, including employee data governance, document management, and regulatory adherence for
the US business. The role ensures high accuracy, data integrity, and timely delivery in line with defined SLAs and
quality frameworks, while acting as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for compliance processes.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage end-to-end People Operations compliance activities
• Ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards
• Oversee HR data updates, document indexing, record maintenance, and reporting
• Maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and data integrity across HR systems
• Act as the SME for compliance-related queries
• Manage stakeholder communication with onshore teams and leadership
• Monitor SLAs, quality metrics, dashboards, and KPIs
• Drive process improvements and SOP updates
• Support team management, coaching, and quality reviews
• Ensure timely escalation and resolution of compliance issues

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
• Customer-focused with strong ownership
• Ability to work under pressure in a regulated environment
Technical Skills
• MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Experience & Qualifications
• 7–9 years of overall experience with 2–3 years in a Team Lead role
• Experience in HR Operations / People Operations Compliance
• Exposure to professional services or large multinational environments preferred
