Technical Program Manager, Google Home App Experiences

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a computer science, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience in program management.
• Experience in planning technical acumen.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
• Experience tracking and translating engineering discussions into actionable engineering tasks and next steps, capable of leading through influence.
• Experience in project management, and delivering successful platform software.

Responsibilities

• Define the scope of projects, develop, execute or manage project plans for supported programs.
• Identify, communicate, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders within one or more teams to drive impact and work toward mutual goals.
• Manage technical projects or programs. Work closely with Google engineers and technical staff to manage project schedules, identify and mitigate risks, develop and track sprints and milestones, and ensure smooth launches.
• Collaborate both internally, with cross-functional and cross-product/cross-company teams, as well as third party partners, remove roadblocks and keep processes running smoothly.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, User Experience, Marketing, and other cross-functional stakeholders, including Privacy, Legal, Partnerships, and Go-To-Market (GTM) teams.
