Technical Program Manager, Google Play Business Generation

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience in program management.
• Experience in process management, leadership and software development.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with product testing and releases.
• Experience managing cross-functional engineering organizations with dependencies, stakeholders, and partners.
• Ability to produce project plans and documents that communicate status, scope, timelines, task planning, action items, risks, issues, project dependencies, test planning, or rollout planning.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand or identify defined work problems and program goals, obtain prioritized deliverables, and discuss program impact.
• Manage the organization’s portfolio for planning and prioritization, partner with Engineering and Product, drive Roadmap/Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) planning, milestones, and the feature development lifecycle for business-critical projects.
• Design processes and introduce governance to improve communication.
• Partner with engineering and product management directors to support organization execution, and drive innovation and manage technical dependencies across the stack.
• Review key metrics pertaining to a program, monitor potential metric deviations, and define corrective actions for critical deviations.
