Job Description

• Inventory Management:
  • Track and maintain lab inventory, including consumables, tools, and semiconductor materials.
  • Conduct inventory checks and coordinate the procurement of supplies.
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and disposal of materials in compliance with safety standards.
• Hardware Rework and Repair:
  • Perform hardware rework and repair on electronic assemblies, PCBs, and semiconductor-related components as per engineering guidelines.
  • Diagnose hardware failures using schematics, test equipment, and debug tools; identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Execute component replacement, soldering/desoldering (SMT/through-hole), and board-level modifications with high precision.
  • Ensure rework and repair activities comply with quality standards, ESD, and safety guidelines.
  • Document repair actions, failure analysis results, and maintain repair logs for traceability and audits.
• Desktop and IT Support (Lab Environment):
  • Provide on-site desktop and IT support for lab users and workstations.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot lab PCs, peripherals, and basic network issues.
  • Support connectivity between lab instruments and computer systems.
  • Ensure compliance with lab safety, ESD, and IT security standards.
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and coordinate with IT teams/vendors as needed.
• ·  Technical Lab Management:
  • Set up, calibrate, and maintain semiconductor lab equipment (e.g., deposition systems, testing tools).
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs or servicing.
  • Ensure the lab meets safety, cleanroom, and operational standards.
• ·  R&D Support:
  • Assist researchers and engineers with equipment setup and experiments.
  • Provide technical support to optimize lab workflows.
  • Maintain accurate records for equipment and processes.
• ·  Safety and Compliance:
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce cleanroom protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Qualifications

• Diploma in ECE or B.E. Electronics and Communication / Electrical and Electronics.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in inventory management
• Familiar with computer systems
• Technical background
• Ability to learn independently
• Ability to work in a team
• Good communication
