Summary As a Software Engineer / Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and building Generative AI features leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) and modern AI frameworks. Your role will involve implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, building scalable APIs, and ensuring robust safety and compliance mechanisms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI, Product, Business Analysts, and DevOps to deliver sprint commitments. Your contributions will directly impact the development of advanced GenAI workflows, enabling intelligent, safe, and scalable solutions for enterprise applications. Roles & Responsibilities -Design and build GenAI features using LLMs (Azure OpenAI, Vertex, Claude), prompt patterns, and tool/function calling. -Implement RAG workflows: chunking, embeddings, vector search, reranking, citations, and response grounding. -Build scalable APIs (REST/GraphQL) with streaming responses for chat/copilot experiences. -Implement guardrails, safety filters, PII handling, and content moderation patterns. -Set up evaluation metrics (quality, latency, cost), telemetry, and monitoring run A/B tests where needed. -Collaborate with UI, Product/BA, and DevOps teams to deliver sprint commitments. -Ensure adherence to best practices in CI/CD, testing, and deployment. Professional & Technical Skills Must To Have Skills: Full stack experience with strong backend focus: Node.js / Python / .NET (expertise in at least one). -Experience integrating LLMs and building GenAI workflows (agents, tools, RAG). -Datastore expertise: SQL/NoSQL (Postgres) + vector DBs (Redis vector, Pinecone, Weaviate, etc.). -Cloud fundamentals (Azure preferred): app hosting, Key Vault/secrets, storage, networking. -CI/CD pipelines, Git, unit/integration testing. Good To Have Skills -Experience with LangChain, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen. -WebSockets streaming, caching, and cost optimization. -OAuth2/OIDC/Azure AD integration. Additional Information -The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Generative AI and backend development. -A 15 years full-time education is required.
