Teradata Developer

Summary

We are seeking a skilled Teradata Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience in Teradata development, along with strong skills in PL-SQL, Unix Shell Scripting, and Nifi. Experience with Hadoop is a plus.

Your role in our mission

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Support data warehouse platform, perform root cause analysis, investigate errors, and implement corrective actions.
• Design and develop new ELT/ETL processes using Linux/Unix scripting, SQL, ETL tool (i.e. Informatica), and relational databases like Teradata and DB2.
• Design, develop, and support data processing capabilities.
• Collaborate with teams to maintain, develop, and enhance, and automated data processing / pipelines.
• Work with users to resolve questions and provide information as needed.
• Write and optimize complex PL-SQL queries and scripts.
• Develop and maintain Unix Shell scripts for automation and data processing.
• Implement and manage data workflows using Nifi.
• Perform data analysis and troubleshooting to ensure data integrity and performance.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve skills and knowledge.

 

What we're looking for

Required Skills:

• 3-6 years of experience in Teradata development.
• Proficiency in PL-SQL and Unix Shell Scripting.
• Experience with Nifi for data workflow management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Hadoop and related technologies.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
