PLM Windchill 1. Solution Architecture & Design Define end‑to‑end architecture for PTC Windchill PLM implementations. Translate business requirements into scalable PLM solutions. Create high-level and detailed technical designs including integrations, workflows, data models, and customizations. Ensure alignment of solution architecture with business and IT strategy. 2. Windchill Implementation & Customization Lead implementations of Windchill (PDMLink, MPMLink, ProjectLink) modules. Oversee and guide customizations using: Java / J2EE Info*Engine & Webjects JCA/JSX components REST & SOAP APIs Optimize performance, security, and configurations. 3. Integration & Migration Architect and lead integrations between Windchill and: CAD tools (Creo, SolidWorks, CATIA) ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) MES / Manufacturing systems Lead Windchill data migration, upgrades, deployment planning, and cutover activities. 4. Stakeholder Management Work closely with business stakeholders, engineering, manufacturing, and IT teams. Provide architecture guidance during requirement analysis. Conduct solution workshops and design reviews. 5. Governance & Best Practices Establish PLM standards, reusable frameworks, and development guidelines. Define best practices for Windchill customization, workflows, and lifecycle processes. Conduct technical risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies. 6. Technical Leadership Mentor development and support teams. Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to design principles. Lead implementation teams through Agile/SDLC phases.
