Workday Payroll - Assistant Manager

Roles & Responsibilities: Workday Payroll Functional Consultant

  • Responsible for client deliverables (functional/technical) of medium-high complexity work with quality check, learning and understanding the client's requirements
  • Understand Client's requirements, Design and deliver future-ready Workday solutions to help Clients to optimize their Finance/HCM functions and enhance their employee experiences
  • Setup Configurations and Security Policies in the tenant
  • Support quality control activities and evaluate data within Workday to ensure consistency, accuracy, security, and data integrity
  • Assist on continue process improvement projects to enhance speed, automation, data accuracy and customer satisfaction.
  • Respond to ad-hoc requests for internal and/or external customers to ensure alignment of programs and initiatives.

Must-Have Certifications

  • Workday HCM Core.
  • Workday Payroll.

Experience & Background 

  • BE/B.Tech/M.Tech/MBA/MCA from an accredited college/university.
  • Candidate should have 7-9 years of experience in IT
  • Professional Experience of at least 3+ years in implementing or supporting Workday
  • Has completed at least 2 end to end Workday implementation as a Core HCM/Payroll consultant

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Exposure to Customer Central, iLoads, EIBs, Migration of functional configuration using Workday tools like Migration Recipe and Advance Loader.
  • Experience in implementing configuring and supporting Workday HCM for global rollouts. 
  • Experience in US Payroll and Time Tracking/Absence modules.
  • Experience in configuring various business processes.
  • Experience in setting up end-to-end Payroll configurations.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and execute tasks independently, providing timely follow-up and resolution
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle both planned and unplanned responsibilities

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Experience on other modules like Recruitment, Benefits, Payroll, Compensation, Learning is a plus.
  • Strong Excel skills – ability to manage and analyze large, complex datasets, iLoads, & EIBs.
  • Strong verbal and analytical skills with the ability to write at a publication quality level.
  • Candidate should have an experience in leading the design sessions or workshops to bring in the best practices and suggesting work arounds for non-compliance requirement
