Assistant Port Manager & HSE Manager

• Responsible for safety of Personnel and preparing Health, Safety and Environmental Plans and other activities connected therewith including preparation and maintenance of all documents.
• To plan and ensure adequate and proper trainings and drills of jetties, POC and tugboat staff as per the Port Operator quality system, statutory and PLL requirements.
• To act as Back up for Berth Master/Supervisor for berthing/un-berthing of LNG Carriers.
• To conduct internal audits, safety and quality meetings and inspections, accident and near miss investigations related to Marine Crafts/port operations and suggest /ensure timely corrective actions.
• To take charge of port operations in absence of port Manager.
• To ensure that proper SOP of all jetty and POC equipment are being followed.

Educational Qualification:
•    Shall possess a valid certificate of First Mate (FG). Shall have successfully completed the firefighting training.
•    Shall have successfully completed tanker safety course and the pollution fighting training.
•    Shall have successfully undertaken training in advance first aid course.

Experiences:
General Experience:

Shall have three years’ experience of on-board ISM system as an officer. Shall possess internal auditor training.

Technical Experience:

Shall have minimum three years’ experience as Chief Officer of oil/gas/chemical tanker.
