Role Of Fire Safety Officers In The Workplace - Ken Institute

Firemen (firefighters) and safety supervisors ensure, respectively, immediate emergency response and long-term hazard prevention. Firemen extinguish fires, perform rescues, and maintain equipment, while Safety Supervisors (or Fire Safety Officers) develop safety policies, conduct training, perform inspections, and enforce compliance with regulations.

Fireman/Firefighter Roles and Responsibilities

Emergency Response: Promptly responding to fire calls, medical emergencies, and accidents to save lives and property.
