At PayNearby, we’re building the next generation of payment, travel, insurance, and other platforms in the retail space. To that end, our Sales and Distribution team is seeking a Sales Manager for the [Location] territory. The primary responsibility of this position is to build and maintain the network of retailers and distributors in your location to increase business volumes. 

What will you do?

• Build a distributor and retailer network.
• Ready to do 20 to 25 cold calls in a day, Merchant onboarding and KYC/eKYC.
• Ensure new distributors and retailers transact on our app.
• Ensure cross-selling of a minimum of 5 products to the existing merchant network.
• Ensure visits to existing distributors for business development and business growth.
• Retention/reactivation of existing/inactive merchants.

What are we looking for? 

• Any graduate Local candidates - sons of the soil.
• Should have a 2-wheeler. 
• Minimum 1 and maximum 3 years of field sales experience with subscription fee or bulk new billing 
• Experience of merchant onboarding/store onboarding / KYC for any business (Non fintech) - Telecom, FMCG etc.
• Local market knowledge in terms of Talukas, Pin codes, Retail shops, Bank Branches, ATMs. 
• Willing to do daily market visits of 70 - 80 kms (both sides) 
• Ethical behaviour/market practices 
• Should be target & achievement oriented.
