Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Manager to oversee and manage all human resource functions of the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing HR strategies, managing employee relations, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting business goals through effective people management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, performance management, and employee engagement
• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and systems in line with company objectives and statutory requirements
• Handle manpower planning, hiring, and retention strategies
• Act as a bridge between management and employees to address grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
• Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws, statutory filings, and audits (PF, ESIC, CLRA, Shops & Establishment, POSH, etc.)
• Drive performance appraisal cycles, goal-setting processes, and learning & development initiatives
• Manage employee records, HR MIS, attendance, leave, and exit processes
• Promote a positive work culture and support employee engagement activities
• Advise management on organizational development, restructuring, and workforce planning
• Coordinate with external vendors, consultants, and government authorities when required

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and compliance frameworks
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
• Ability to handle sensitive matters with confidentiality and professionalism
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Hands-on experience with HR systems and MS Office
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• 3–5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in a mid-sized or growing organization

Preferred Attributes

• Experience in multi-location workforce management
• Exposure to startup, QSR, retail, manufacturing, or service industry environments
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of HR functions
