Billing Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Measurement & QuantificationTake measurements of work completed at site (as per drawings and BOQ – Bill of Quantities)
• Prepare quantity take-offs for materials and labor
• Verify subcontractor/vendor measurements
• Check and certify subcontractor bills
• Ensure billing is done as per contract terms and project progress
• BOQ & Cost ManagementStudy and understand BOQ items and specifications
• Track project costs vs budget
• Identify variations and extra items (non-BOQ work)
• Rate AnalysisPrepare rate analysis for new or extra items
• Evaluate material, labor, and equipment costs
• DocumentationMaintain records of bills, measurements, and approvals
• Prepare and update billing registers and reports
• Assist in preparing final project bills
• CoordinationWork closely with site engineers, project managers
• Coordinate with clients and consultants for bill approvals

Must have worked on IS Code 1200

Education should be B.tech Civil
