Role Overview We are looking for a high-impact leader to build and scale Lenskart’s eyewear frames manufacturing capability from the ground up. This role will own the end-to-end setup and operations of a world-class manufacturing facility, setting new benchmarks across quality, efficiency, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

● Lead the end-to-end setup and commissioning of a new eyewear frames manufacturing plant—from concept and layout to full-scale production

● Define and execute the manufacturing strategy, ensuring best-in-class quality, scalability, and cost efficiency

● Drive technology transfer, automation, and lean manufacturing practices from day one

● Build and institutionalize end-to-end plant operations across production, planning, quality, maintenance, and EHS

● Partner with global design, product, and sourcing teams to ensure manufacturability, consistency, and speed to market

● Establish a high-performance leadership team and foster a culture of accountability, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement

● Define and track key operational KPIs (throughput, yield, efficiency) to drive data-led decision-making

● Collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Product, and Finance to align manufacturing capabilities with business goals What

We’re Looking For

● Proven experience in leading large-scale manufacturing operations in eyewear, precision plastics/metals, consumer durables, or automotive components

● Strong track record of setting up or scaling greenfield/brownfield facilities

● Deep understanding of eyewear frames manufacturing processes (injection molding, acetate machining, metal processing, finishing, assembly)

● Expertise in lean manufacturing, automation, and global quality systems (ISO, Six Sigma, TPM, etc.)

● Demonstrated ability to build and scale high-performance teams and operational excellence frameworks

● Strong leadership presence with the ability to operate in high-growth, ambiguous environments
