FMCG Sales Executive

Job Description: Retail Sales Associate (Sweets & Confectionery)

Role: To drive revenue by converting store walk-ins into loyal customers through exceptional service, strategic upselling, and meticulous outlet management.

Experience Required: 1–3 years (Retail Sales, Hospitality, or F&B (Food & Beverage).

Experience in high-footfall environments (like bakeries, sweet shops, or cafes) is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales & Upselling: Greet every customer, lead product tastings, and promote premium hampers and bulk corporate orders.
• Customer Experience: Guide the customer from entry to a quick checkout (under 5 mins) with a friendly attitude.
• Inventory & Display: Keep shelves looking attractive and monitor expiry dates to keep wastage below 3%.
• CRM & Reporting: Log customer details into the system and submit daily reports on sales and stock.
• Teamwork: Coordinate with the packing and billing staff to handle rushes, especially during busy festive seasons.

Success Metrics (How you will be measured)

• Sales Conversion: Turning 50%–70% of walk-ins into buyers.
• Upselling: Ensuring 20%–30% of your sales come from premium/add-on items.
• Data Accuracy: Capturing contact info for at least 80% of customers.
• Service Speed: Keeping the average customer wait time under 5 minutes.
