QA / QC Analyst

Job Summary:

The Quality Control Executive is responsible for ensuring that all products meet defined quality standards and regulatory requirements. The role involves monitoring production processes, conducting inspections, testing raw materials and finished goods, and maintaining quality documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct quality checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards such as FSSAI, ISO, and HACCP
• Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to SOPs and hygiene standards
• Perform sampling and lab testing (moisture, shelf life, microbial analysis, etc.)
• Maintain quality records, reports, and documentation
• Identify quality issues and coordinate with production teams for corrective actions
• Conduct internal audits and support external audits
• Ensure proper storage conditions and stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO)
• Handle customer complaints and perform root cause analysis (RCA)
• Train workers on quality and hygiene practices

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in:
• Food Technology
• Microbiology
• Chemistry
• Any related field

Experience:

• 1–5 years of experience in QC/QA in FMCG or food manufacturing industry
• Freshers with relevant qualifications can also apply (Junior role)

Key Skills:

• Knowledge of food safety and quality standards
• Attention to detail and analytical skills
• Good documentation and reporting skills
• Familiarity with lab equipment and testing methods
• Problem-solving and decision-making ability
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, reports)

Working Conditions:

• Factory/Production environment
