Job Description

  • Inspect Products: Examine materials and finished products to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards. This includes conducting visual inspections and using measurement tools.
  • Conduct Tests: Perform tests on products and materials to verify durability, safety, and functionality, documenting the results accurately.
  • Monitor Production Processes: Collaborate with production teams to identify quality issues and recommend adjustments to improve processes and product quality.
  • Document Findings: Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and compliance data, and report any defects or deviations from standards.
  • Assist in Quality Improvement: Participate in the development of quality control processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.
  • Required QualificationsEducation: A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required; further education in a relevant field is preferred. Certifications such as Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) from the American Society for Quality (ASQ) are highly regarded.
  • Experience: Prior experience in quality control or inspection roles is beneficial, especially in manufacturing or production environments.
  • Skills: Attention to detail, strong communication skills, basic math and technical skills, and familiarity with quality inspection tools and methodologies are essential.
