Shift Incharge

Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Shift Incharge to lead production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be from a mechanical, electrical, or food technology background and will have 2–5 years of hands-on experience in production or plant operations. This role requires the ability to manage people, processes, and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards during shifts.

What You’ll Do

 • Supervise and manage all production activities during the assigned shift

• Ensure smooth functioning of manufacturing processes with minimum downtime

• Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and stores teams to maintain productivity targets

• Monitor production KPIs and implement improvements to increase efficiency

• Maintain documentation for shift-wise production, manpower allocation, and incidents

• Train and guide operators and technicians on SOPs, safety protocols, and quality standards

• Conduct shift handovers and ensure continuity between shifts

• Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and regulatory norms in the plant

Who You Are

 • B.Tech or BE in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, Food Technology

• 2–5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing setup

• Good understanding of production processes, machine operations, and shift planning

• Strong leadership and communication skills to manage floor teams effectively

• Working knowledge of manufacturing KPIs and lean practices

• Ability to troubleshoot production issues and take timely corrective actions

• Familiarity with ERP systems and MS Office tools is a plus
