ob Title: Factory Storekeeper

Job Summary:

The Storekeeper is responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining proper records of raw materials, tools, spares, and finished goods in the factory store.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive materials and check quantity & quality against purchase orders
• Maintain proper storage of raw materials, consumables, tools, and finished goods
• Issue materials to production as per requisition slips
• Keep accurate stock records (manual register / computer system)
• Conduct regular stock checks and assist in stock audits
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper labeling in the store
• Report shortages, damages, or slow-moving items to management
• Coordinate with purchase, production, and accounts departments

Skills & Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of inventory management
• Ability to maintain records and reports
• Basic computer knowledge (Excel / ERP preferred)
• Attention to detail and honesty
• Prior experience in factory or warehouse preferred
