Job Summary

The Field Supervisor is responsible for overseeing on-site solar project execution, ensuring installations are completed safely, on time, and according to design specifications and quality standards. The role involves coordinating with project teams, contractors, and clients while maintaining compliance with industry regulations.

• Key Responsibilities
• 1. Site Supervision & ExecutionSupervise installation of solar PV systems (rooftop / ground-mounted).
• Ensure work is carried out as per engineering drawings and project plans.
• Monitor daily site activities and progress.

• 2. Team ManagementManage and guide technicians, electricians, and labor teams.
• Assign tasks and ensure productivity and discipline on-site.
• Provide basic training and safety instructions to workers.

• 3. Quality ControlEnsure installation meets technical standards and company guidelines.
• Conduct inspections of mounting structures, wiring, and panels.
• Identify and resolve on-site issues promptly.

• 4. Safety ComplianceEnforce safety practices and use of PPE at site.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Ensure compliance with local electrical and construction safety regulations.

• 5. Coordination & CommunicationCoordinate with project managers, engineers, and vendors.
• Maintain communication with clients regarding site progress.
• Handle site-related approvals and documentation if required.

• 6. Material & Inventory ManagementTrack material usage and report shortages.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of solar equipment.
• Verify delivered materials against BOQ (Bill of Quantities).

• 7. Reporting & DocumentationPrepare daily/weekly progress reports.
• Maintain site logs, installation checklists, and work reports.
• Assist in project handover documentation.
