Operation Manager

The Operations Manager will be responsible for driving business development and managing end-to-end execution of Commercial & Industrial (C&I) solar EPC projects. This role bridges sales, project execution, and operations, ensuring profitable growth, timely delivery, and high customer satisfaction.

• Sales & Business DevelopmentIdentify, develop, and close C&I rooftop and ground-mounted solar EPC opportunities
• Lead client interactions, site visits, techno-commercial discussions, and negotiations
• Prepare proposals, BOQs, pricing, and tenders in coordination with engineering teams
• Build and maintain strong relationships with C&I customers, consultants, and channel partners
• Achieve sales targets for revenue, margin, and project pipeline
• Operations & Project ExecutionOversee end-to-end execution of awarded solar EPC projects
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and as per quality & safety standards
• Manage vendors, subcontractors, and site teams
• Monitor project schedules, costs, risks, and cash flow
• Cross-Functional CoordinationAct as the single point of contact between clients and internal teams
• Align sales commitments with operational feasibility
• Support handover from sales to execution and post-commissioning closure
• Reporting & ComplianceTrack project KPIs, sales performance, and operational metrics
• Ensure compliance with statutory, safety, and quality requirements

Provide regular reports to management on sales pipeline and project status

Strong understanding of Solar EPC lifecycle for C&I projects

Expertise in techno-commercial sales and contract negotiation

Project management & execution capability

Knowledge of solar components: modules, inverters, structures, BOS

Familiarity with MNRE / DISCOM / CEA norms (preferred)
