Job SummaryThe Commis – I will assist in daily kitchen operations for the assigned section (Chinese, Continental, Indian Curry, or Tandoor), ensuring food quality, hygiene, and timely preparation as per company standards.

• Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in preparation, cooking, and plating of dishes as per menu and SOPs
• Maintain food quality, taste, and presentation standards
• Follow hygiene, food safety, and kitchen cleanliness norms
• Prepare mise-en-place for daily operations
• Support senior chefs (CDP / Sous Chef) during service hours
• Minimize wastage and follow proper storage procedures
• Ensure proper use and care of kitchen equipment
• Follow safety guidelines and kitchen discipline
• Coordinate with team members for smooth kitchen operations
• Section-Specific Knowledge (Any One Mandatory)Chinese: Wok handling, sauces, gravies, stir-fry basics
• Continental: Grilling, sautéing, sauces, basic plating
• Indian Curry: Gravies, masalas, regional curry preparation
• Tandoor: Roti, naan, kebab, marination, tandoor handling
