Accountant/ Accounts Executive

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
• Prepare and reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.Qualifications & SkillsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field. (CA/CPA/ICWA qualification preferred but not mandatory.)

Experience:

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS).
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks)
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
