🔹 Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dog Groomer to join the Paws – The Dogs Planet team. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality grooming services while ensuring safety, comfort, and a positive experience for every dog.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

🐶 Grooming & Styling

Bathe, dry, brush, trim, and style dogs of all breeds and sizes

Perform breed-specific haircuts and owner-requested styles

Clean ears, trim nails, and care for coats

🧡 Pet Care & Handling

Handle dogs with patience and gentle care

Assess dog behaviour and adjust handling techniques

Identify and report any health concerns (skin issues, wounds, etc.)

🗣️ Customer Interaction

Greet pet owners professionally and listen to their requests

Explain grooming procedures, pricing, and after-care tips

Maintain grooming records and schedules

🧼 Cleanliness & Safety

Keep grooming stations clean and organized

Sanitize equipment after each use

Follow safety protocols to prevent injury

🔹 Qualifications

Required

Previous experience as a dog groomer or formal training in grooming

Strong knowledge of breed standards and haircut styles

Comfortable handling different dog temperaments

Good communication and customer service skills

Preferred

Grooming certification from a recognized institute

Knowledge of basic pet first aid

Passion for animals and teamwork
