Housekeeping Executive / Attendant

Job Title: Housekeeping Room Boy

Department: Housekeeping

Reports To: Housekeeping Supervisor / Executive Housekeeper

Job Purpose: To ensure guest rooms and assigned areas are cleaned, maintained, and presented as per the property’s standards, ensuring guest comfort, hygiene, and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Room Cleaning & Maintenance
• Clean and service guest rooms daily as per standard operating procedures
• Make beds, change linen, pillow covers, and towels
• Dust furniture, clean floors, carpets, windows, and bathrooms
• Replenish guest supplies (toiletries, tea/coffee, water bottles, etc.)
• Check room equipment (lights, AC, TV, geyser) and report faults

Public Area & Support Duties:

• Clean assigned public areas such as corridors, staircases, and service areas
• Assist with deep cleaning schedules when required
• Handle guest requests politely (extra towels, pillows, etc.)
• Hygiene & SafetyFollow hygiene, cleanliness, and sanitation standards strictly
• Use cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment safely
• Follow safety procedures and report any hazards or lost & found items
• Coordination & ReportingCoordinate with housekeeping supervisors for daily room status
• Report maintenance issues, damages, or missing items immediately
• Follow duty rosters, attendance, and discipline norms

Skills & Requirements:

Basic knowledge of housekeeping cleaning procedures

• Ability to understand and follow instructions
• Physically fit and able to stand for long hours
• Honest, disciplined, and punctual
• Polite behavior and basic guest interaction skills

Working Hours:

As per duty roster (8–9 hours per shift)

• Weekly off as per company policy
