Purchase Executive

Objective: To manage the procurement of construction materials (cement, steel, sand, tiles, electricals, etc.) and coordinate with vendors to ensure uninterrupted site progress.

​📋 Key Responsibilities

​Sourcing & Procurement: Identify and shortlist reliable suppliers and subcontractors for various construction materials and services.

​Rate Negotiation: Negotiate the best possible prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules to stay within the project budget.

​Purchase Orders (PO): Prepare and issue formal Purchase Orders based on site requisitions.

​Market Analysis: Keep track of fluctuating market rates (especially for steel and cement) to make bulk purchases at the right time.

​Vendor Management: Maintain a database of vendors and evaluate their performance based on quality and timeliness.

​Coordination: Work closely with Site Engineers to understand material requirements and with the Accounts team for timely vendor payments.

​Quality Control: Ensure that materials delivered to the site meet the specified technical standards and match the samples approved.

​🛠️ Required Skills & Qualifications

​Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of construction materials, grades, and local market rates.

​Negotiation: Strong "haggling" skills to lower costs without compromising quality
