Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced, customer-focused, and dynamic Salon Manager to oversee daily operations of our salon. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth salon management, handling client interactions, driving sales through client follow-ups, supervising staff, and maintaining service quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to create an excellent customer experience and manage the salon efficiently.


Key Responsibilities


Client Management & Engagement

  • Greet, handle, and build strong relationships with clients to ensure excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Manage client appointments, bookings, and walk-ins to maximize efficiency.
  • Handle client queries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner.
  • Conduct follow-up calls/messages for client retention, feedback, and promotions.
  • Upsell and cross-sell salon services and products based on client needs.


Salon Operations & Administration

  • Oversee the day-to-day functioning of the salon, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and an inviting atmosphere in the salon.
  • Monitor stock and inventory of products, tools, and supplies; place timely orders.
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained in working condition.
  • Manage cash handling, billing, and daily sales reports.


Team Leadership & Staff Management

  • Supervise, guide, and motivate salon staff (stylists, beauticians, receptionists, etc.).
  • Allocate tasks and create work schedules to optimize productivity.
  • Train and upskill staff in customer service, grooming standards, and new techniques.
  • Ensure staff adhere to salon policies, grooming standards, and hygiene protocols.


Marketing & Business Growth

  • Support in implementing marketing campaigns, promotional offers, and events.
  • Increase client retention rate through loyalty programs and personalized communication.
  • Maintain client database (CRM) for targeted promotions.
  • Drive sales of retail products and services to meet revenue goals.


Compliance & Standards

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Maintain salon brand standards and service protocols consistently.
  • Handle audits, inspections, and regulatory requirements as needed.


Key Skills & Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Salon Manager or similar role in the beauty/wellness industry.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Good sales and negotiation skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in using salon management software/CRM is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the latest beauty trends, treatments, and products preferred
  • Ability to handle pressure, multitask, and maintain a professional demeanor.


Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or related field preferred (not mandatory).
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in salon/spa management or customer-facing supervisory role.
