Reporting & Guidance

This role will work under the guidance of the Product Manager. The Product Manager will define priorities, review designs, guide system thinking, and ensure alignment with business and operational goals.

Role Objective

To digitally transform Krishna Electricals’ internal and external operations by designing and building practical digital systems that simplify execution, improve visibility, and enable data-driven decision-making.

The role focuses on converting manual, fragmented processes into structured digital platforms spanning:

• Internal operations
• Technician productivity
• Customer visibility

Core Objectives of the Role

1. Build and maintain a company website
2. Create a customer login & reporting portal
3. Develop a technician productivity logging application
4. Simplify internal workflows using basic automation

Key Responsibilities

1. Company Website Development

• Design and develop a company website, covering:
• Company overview
• Services and capabilities
• Product / panel catalogue
• Client list and project highlights
• Ensure the website is:
• Simple and professional
• Easy to update
• Aligned with the company’s execution-focused brand

2. Customer Login & Project Visibility Platform

• Build a secure customer login area (web and/or mobile view) where customers can:
• View order history
• Track current project / order status
• See blockers or delays
• View service logs
• Access billing and invoice history
• The same customer view should be accessible via:
• Web portal
• Mobile app (where applicable)
• Customer access will be:
• Read-only
• Driven from internal execution data
• Designed for clarity and trust, not complexity

3. Technician Productivity & Performance Application

Build a mobile application for technicians to:

• Log daily work output
• Record quantities, tasks, or milestones
• Submit structured daily updates from site or shop floor
• Data generated will be used to:
• Track project-level progress
• Measure individual technician performance
• Generate internal dashboards
• Produce standardised customer-facing progress reports

The goal is to replace ad-hoc, manual, or WhatsApp-based processes with traceable and standardised workflows.

4. Internal Workflow AutomationDesign and implement basic digital workflows for internal operations, including:

• Leave requests
• Advance requests
• Attendance-related inputs
• Internal approvals and confirmations
• Use tools such as:
• Google Forms
• Google Sheets
• AppSheet / Zoho CRM / automation tools
• Email or notification triggers

Replace informal, verbal, or WhatsApp-based processes with traceable and standardised systems.

5. Systems Thinking & DocumentationUnderstand real operational workflows by working with:

• Technicians
• Supervisors
• Admin, payroll, and billing teams
• Translate ground reality into:
• Clean data models
• Logical workflows
• Simple user journeys
• Document:
• System architecture
• Data structures
• Workflow logic
• Usage guidelines

Systems should be maintainable and scalable, not person-dependent.

• Duration: 11 months
• Continuous feedback and guidance will be provided by the Product Manager
• Extension or deeper ownership may be considered based on outcomes and capability
