Store Keeper

Job Summary

The Store Helper assists in day-to-day store and warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, issuing materials, and maintaining cleanliness and organization within the store area.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in receiving, unloading, and storing materials and goods.

Arrange items properly in racks and storage areas.

Help in issuing materials as per requirement and instructions.

Maintain cleanliness and order in the store and warehouse.

Support stock verification and physical inventory checks.

Label, pack, and prepare materials for dispatch.

Assist in maintaining stock registers and records.

Follow safety rules and store procedures.

Report damaged or missing items to the supervisor.

Support store staff in daily operations.

Requirements

Minimum basic education; 10th pass preferred.

Prior experience in store or warehouse work is an advantage.

Ability to lift and move materials as required.

Physically fit and able to stand for long hours.

Willingness to work in shifts if required.

Basic understanding of safety practices.

Preferred Skills

Experience in industrial stores or warehouse operations.

Basic knowledge of inventory handling.

Teamwork and a positive work attitude.
