Store Manager

Job Summary

The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store to ensure smooth functioning, high performance, and excellent customer experience. This role involves managing staff, driving sales, maintaining inventory, and ensuring that company policies and standards are consistently met.

• Key Responsibilities
• Leadership & Team Management:
• Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate store staff.
• Create staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching for improvement.

Sales & Customer Service:

• Achieve and exceed store sales targets and KPIs.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through exceptional service.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.

Operations Management:

• Oversee daily store operations including opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising standards.
• Monitor and manage stock levels, ordering, and inventory control.
• Financial Management:
• Prepare and analyze sales reports, budgets, and forecasts.
• Control store expenses and minimize losses.
• Ensure accurate cash handling and banking procedures.
• Compliance & Safety:
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and labor laws.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections.
• Marketing & Merchandising:
• Implement promotional campaigns and merchandising strategies.
• Ensure effective product placement and signage to maximize sales.

• Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field (preferred).
• Proven experience (3+ years) as a Store Manager or Assistant Manager in retail.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency with POS systems and MS Office (Excel, Word).
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
