Job Description

The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth for the organization. The BDM will develop strategies to increase sales, expand market presence, and meet company objectives.

  • Key Responsibilities:Identify and generate new business opportunities to achieve sales targets and company growth plans.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Prepare and deliver business presentations, proposals, and demonstrations to clients.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and close business deals in alignment with company policies.
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, prospects, and client interactions in the CRM system.
  • Attend industry events, networking meetings, and conferences to represent the company.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and market insights to management.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and address any client concerns promptly.
  • Key Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or in a similar sales role.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles, customer relationship management, and negotiation techniques.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel as required for client meetings and business opportunities.
  • Preferred:Experience in [industry-specific experience if applicable, e.g., IT services, staffing, real estate, SaaS].
  • Master’s degree (MBA) is a plus.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
