Cleaner

   JOB SUMMARY:

1.     Responsible for all cleaning functions in the CAFE .

2.     This includes, facilities, machines and utensils.

3.     Cleaning is carried out on a daily and weekly schedule.

B.      DUTIES AND RESPONSEBILITIES:

     DAILY DUTIES:

1.     To wash all the dishes, pans and cooking equipment used during the food preparation in the Central Kitchen.

2.     Dusting, Sweeping and Mopping Floors as required.

3.     Refilling tissue, sanitizer, and soap dispensers.

4.     Cleaning glass windows, and doors.

5.     Garbage disposal – Kitchen/Toilet/Office.

6.     Keeping all areas neat and tidy.

7.     Cleaning all the dirty food baskets.

8.     Thorough cleaning of all sanitary appliances, equipment, fittings, drains and preparation areas daily.

9.     Cleaning and monitoring toilet condition every hour.

10. Reporting any required repairs and consumables that are required when noted during cleaning.

WEEKLY DUTIES:

1.     Weekly cleaning of the exhaust hoods and filters.

2.     All stainless-steel surfaces must be cleaned and polished weekly.

3.     Deep cleaning of equipment, chiller and freezer evaporators and facility.

4.     Plastic pallets cleaned weekly.

5.     All wall tiles should be cleaned weekly.
