Django Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Django Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have strong backend development experience, a solid understanding of REST APIs, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for building scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems for web and mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain backend services using Python & Django
• Build RESTful APIs for web and mobile apps
• Integrate third-party APIs, authentication, and cloud services
• Work with Django REST Framework (DRF) for API development
• Write clean, reusable, and optimized code
• Collaborate with frontend teams (React, React Native, Expo)
• Implement security, user authentication, and authorization
• Manage databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) including schema design
• Optimize application performance and scalability
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting
• Deploy applications on AWS / GCP / DigitalOcean / Nginx
• Maintain proper documentation and follow best practices

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in Python
• Hands-on experience with Django and Django REST Framework
• Knowledge of ORM, migrations, and relational databases
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQLite
• Understanding of Git, version control, CI/CD
• Experience with authentication (Token, Session, OAuth)
• Familiarity with APIs, JSON, WebSockets
