Job Description

Job Summary :

The Sales Executive is responsible for executing field-level sales activities within the assigned territory, driving product visibility, generating leads, and ensuring consistent order booking and collections. The role focuses on promoting and selling spices, oleoresin, curcumin extracts, and exotic vegetables by building strong relationships with retailers, distributors, and institutional buyers. This position plays a critical role in achieving sales targets through effective market coverage, customer engagement, and on-ground execution.


Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily field visits to retailers, distributors, and potential customers to generate business opportunities.

• Identify new customers and on-board them to expand the company’s market presence.

• Ensure regular order booking from retailers and distributors, maintaining a steady sales pipeline. 

• Promote company products and ensure proper visibility and placement at retail and distributor outlets. • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and long-term engagement.

• Track competitor products, pricing, and promotional activities, and report market intelligence to management.

• Follow up on outstanding payments and ensure timely collections from customers.

• Ensure proper stock availability at retail and distributor points by coordinating with supervisors.

• Execute promotional schemes, discounts, and marketing activities in the field.

• Maintain accurate daily activity reports including visits, orders, collections, and market feedback.

• Address customer queries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.

• Coordinate with internal teams such as logistics and accounts for smooth order processing and delivery.

• Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets as assigned.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, and sales processes.

• Continuously identify opportunities to increase sales volume and market penetration.


Qualification & Experience :

• Graduate in any discipline (MBA preferred but not mandatory)

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in field sales, preferably in FMCG, agri-products, or spices industry

• Freshers with strong sales aptitude may also be considered
