Workshop Manager

Roles & responsibilities:

• Responsible to ensure highest workshop efficiency to facilitate financial viability.

• Responsible for complete workshop service function of the location as per MSIL norms.

• Achieve & maintain service performances of workshop given by the management.

• Ensure all customers vehicles are completed for delivery within the given timeframe.

• Reduce the vehicle carry over to increase workshop efficiency.

• Analyze repeat jobs (internal and customers reported) and implement counter measures for improvement.

• Contribute to efficient service operations by reducing the causes of the time and job stoppages.

• Ensure continued dealership profitability through correct loading of the workshop, based on service capacity and manpower productivity.

• Monitor job quality through quality control inspections, reports and complaints (PSF/General).

• Corrective measures to prevent complain & ensure resolution of all complaints within 48 hrs. 

• Ensure accurate recording of labour billed with respect to time taken.

• Ensure submission of timely and accurate warranty claims in line with the policies/ procedures and reconciliation of warranty payments against the warranty ledger

• Maintenance & proper utilization of tools and equipment.

• Ensure maintenance storage, forwarding and disposal of replaced warranty parts in line with the MSIL warranty guidelines.

• Organize Service camps/customer meet as per MSIL requirement to enhance customer satisfaction.

• Ensure load & labour growth of the workshop.

• Ensure to keep zero CC/10K.

• Plan & co-ordinate of required training for available manpower as per MSIL norms.

• Ensure proper utilization of all attached assets like MMS and loaner cars. 

• Ensure all parameter of BSC/NSC for highest band (Royal Platinum/ Alpha).

• Ensure Body shop conversion of work shop vehicles to enhance overall revenue and vice versa.
