Audit Cum Tax Assistant

Audit Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing audit engagements under the direction of senior auditors.
• Collect, organize, and review financial documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Perform analytical procedures and substantive testing on financial statements.
• Identify discrepancies, risks, and areas for improvement during audits.
• Prepare audit workpapers and documentation in accordance with professional standards.
• Ready to travel different client places for Audit purpose.

Tax Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns.
• Review financial records to ensure proper tax treatment and compliance.
• Research tax regulations and help interpret changes in tax law.
• Support senior tax staff in preparing tax planning strategies and schedules.
• Maintain documentation and files for tax submissions and audits.

Qualifications

• B.Com/ M.Com in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing).
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g.,Tally prime).
