Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced 2nd Class Boiler Operator to manage the operation and maintenance of industrial boilers. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of boiler safety, operation, and maintenance processes, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Boiler Operation: Operate and monitor boilers to ensure their efficient functioning, maintaining optimal pressure, temperature, and fuel consumption.
2. Maintenance: Perform routine and preventive maintenance on boilers and related systems, identifying and addressing any faults or issues before they escalate.
3. Safety Monitoring: Ensure adherence to safety protocols while operating and maintaining boilers. Regularly inspect safety equipment, valves, pressure gauges, and alarms to maintain safety standards.
4. Troubleshooting: Identify and rectify operational problems in boilers and auxiliary systems. Perform necessary repairs and adjustments.
5. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations related to boiler operations. Prepare and maintain accurate logs and reports regarding boiler performance, maintenance activities, and inspections.
6. Team Collaboration: Work closely with maintenance teams to ensure boilers are operational, performing regular inspections and taking appropriate action when necessary.
7. Emergency Handling: Respond promptly to emergencies such as boiler shutdowns, gas leaks, or other safety concerns, following established procedures.
8. Documentation: Maintain records of boiler operations, inspections, maintenance, and repairs in accordance with company and regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications:

• 2nd Class Boiler License (or equivalent, depending on local regulatory requirements).
• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of [X] years of experience as a Boiler Operator in an industrial setting (preferred).
