Job Summary:
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for driving sales growth, generating business opportunities, and expanding the dealer and customer network for the company’s E-Rickshaw products. The role requires strong market development skills, efficient lead management using CRM systems and digital platforms such as IndiaMART and Justdial, and the ability to convert leads into successful business relationships.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Business Development & SalesIdentify and develop new business opportunities to increase sales of Skyy Rider E-Rickshaw products.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales and revenue targets as assigned by management.
- Generate new business through field visits, dealer networks, transport associations, and commercial vehicle operators.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrate features and benefits to potential customers.
- Digital Lead ManagementManage and track inquiries received through CRM software, IndiaMART, Justdial, company website, and other digital platforms.
- Ensure timely follow-up on all incoming leads and convert them into potential sales opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, lead status, and sales progress within the CRM system.
- Dealer & Channel Network DevelopmentIdentify and onboard new dealers, distributors, and channel partners in target markets.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing dealers to support consistent sales performance.
- Provide dealers with necessary product information, promotional materials, and sales guidance.
- Market Research & Competitive AnalysisConduct regular market surveys to understand customer demand, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
- Identify potential areas for business expansion and recommend strategies to improve market penetration.
- Customer Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain long-term relationships with customers and business partners.
- Provide guidance to customers regarding product specifications, pricing, warranty, and financing options.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and service support coordination.
- Internal CoordinationCoordinate with logistics, production, and service departments to ensure timely order processing and vehicle delivery.
- Work closely with the marketing team to support promotional activities and brand visibility initiatives.
- Reporting & DocumentationMaintain detailed records of daily sales activities, lead conversion, and customer interactions.
- Submit weekly and monthly sales performance reports to the reporting manager.
- Maintain proper documentation related to orders, dealer agreements, and sales records.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong business development and sales skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Experience handling CRM software and online lead platforms such as IndiaMART and Justdial
- Ability to work in a target-driven and fast-paced sales environment
- Good understanding of automobile or electric vehicle market trends
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
Experience:
- 0-1 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Marketing.
- Experience in Electric Vehicle, Automobile, or Commercial Vehicle Sales will be an added advantage.
- Additional RequirementsWillingness to travel for field sales and dealer development activities
- Familiarity with the local market and transport sector
