Business Development Manager (BDM)

Core responsibilities

• Strategy and planning: Develop and execute business strategies, including identifying new markets, services, or products to expand profitability.
• Lead generation: Find and qualify new leads through research, cold calling, networking at events, and following up on referrals.
• Client relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients and partners.
• Sales and negotiation: Create business proposals and presentations, negotiate contracts, and close deals to secure new business.
• Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and other internal teams to align strategies and support lead generation and product development.
• Market analysis: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and market positioning to inform business strategy.
• Reporting: Track progress toward goals, prepare status reports, and use CRM software to manage interactions.
