CCTV Technician

Job SummaryWe are looking for a skilled and reliable CCTV Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot surveillance systems. The ideal candidate should have experience with CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, networking, and basic electrical work. The technician will be responsible for ensuring all security systems operate efficiently and provide technical support when required.

• Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, and maintain CCTV cameras, DVRs, NVRs, and related security systems.
• Perform site surveys and recommend suitable camera placements.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues related to cameras, recording systems, and network connectivity.
• Configure IP cameras, remote viewing, and mobile monitoring systems.
• Run and terminate LAN cables, coaxial cables, and power cables.
• Ensure proper testing and commissioning of surveillance systems.
• Provide technical support and training to clients when required.
• Maintain service records and report installation or maintenance work.
• Follow safety standards during installation and maintenance.
• Required Skills & QualificationsDiploma/ITI in Electronics, Electrical, or related field (preferred).
• 1–3 years of experience in CCTV installation and maintenance.
• Knowledge of IP cameras, networking, routers, and switches.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and system layouts.
• Basic understanding of computer systems and networking.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel for site installations.
• Preferred SkillsExperience with access control systems, biometric systems, and alarm systems.
• Knowledge of remote monitoring and cloud-based surveillance platforms.
• Working ConditionsField work at customer locations.
• May require working at heights and outdoor environments.

SalarySalary will be based on experience and skills.
