Position Overview: As a Civil Engineer specializing in apartment construction, you will play a key role in the planning, design, and execution of multi-story residential developments. From site preparation and structural engineering to project management and quality assurance, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of our apartment projects while adhering to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to develop and refine designs for apartment buildings.

·        Oversee site preparation activities, including grading, excavation, and utility installations.

·        Design and analyze structural components to ensure safety, durability, and compliance with building codes.

·        Procure construction materials and manage inventory to support project timelines and budgetary constraints.

·        Supervise construction crews and subcontractors to ensure adherence to project plans and quality standards.

·        Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks to identify and address any defects or deficiencies.

·        Coordinate with regulatory authorities to obtain necessary permits and approvals for construction activities.

·        Prepare project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and contractual agreements.

·        Implement environmental sustainability measures to minimize the project's ecological footprint.

·        Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges to ensure successful project outcomes.

Qualifications:

·        Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.

·        Professional Engineer (PE) license required, with certification through The National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES).

·        Minimum of 7 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on residential or commercial construction.

·        Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software.

·        Strong understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction standards.

·        Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

·        Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.

·        Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

·        Knowledge of sustainable construction practices and green building certifications is desirable.
